torna all'indice grammatica inglese
se vogliamo riferire a qualcuno cio' che qualcun altro ha detto abbiamo due possibilita' :
1) riferire letteralmente le parole cosi' come sono stat dette , virgolettandole quando scriviamo
2)usare il discorso indiretto ( reported speech )
solitamante quando usiamo il discorso indiretto il verbo principale e il resto della frase sono al passato.
vediamo un tempo alla volta :
present simple
-my girlfriend is very well -------------> luca said that his girlfriend was very well
to be going to
-i'm going to go to university next year------------->she said that she was going to go to university next year
present perfect diventa past perfect
i've lost my keys ---------------------->he said that he had lost his keys
modali seguno le regole del present simple
-i can see the city center by my window----------------->she said that she could see the city center by her window
frasi negative
-i don't know the answer-------------------------->he said that he didn't know the answer
futuro con will diventa would
-we will be together next year-------------------->she said that we would be together next year
past simple puo' rimanere invariato oppure diventare past perfect , senza alcuna differenza di significato
-i went to a concert last year -------->she said that she went to a concert last year
-------->she said that she had gone to a concert last year
-IN TUTTI GLI ESEMPI SOPRA RIPORTATI " THAT " PUO' ESSERE OMESSO
-SE RIFERISCI QUALCOSA CHE E' ANCORA VERO AL MOMENTO IN CUI SI RIFERSICE, NON E' NECESSARIO CAMBIARE IL VERBO
-PER IL REPORTED SPEECH POSSIAMO SIA IL VERBO SAY (QUANDO NON SPECIFICHIAMO A CHI LA FRASE RIFERITA ERA STATA DETTA)
SIA IL VERBO TELL (QUANDO SPECIFICHIAMO A CHI LA FRASE RIFERITA ERA STATA DETTA)
i like pizza she told me she like pizza ---she said she like pizza
